Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner -- Pic is Deceiving ... NO Reconciliation

Don't let this photo fool you ... Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are not getting back together.

The pic was taken Thursday, and it looks like the former couple is simpatico. But sources closely connected to the couple tell TMZ, there is no reconciliation and no chance for one.

We're told Ben has actually moved out of the family house, where he was staying in the guest quarters. He's currently living in a Pacific Palisades home.

As for the photo, our sources say Ben and Jen are civilized, especially when dealing with issues involving their 3 kids.

As one source says, "The damage is already done. They're leading separate lives."
