Donald Trump Sues Univision Blames Hillary Clinton
Donald Trump just sued Univision for $500 million for pulling the plug on the Miss USA pageant.
TMZ broke the story ... Trump promised he'd go after the network, claiming he has an iron-clad, 5 year deal in which it promised to run the beauty contest.
Trump has also vowed to go after NBC in court for pulling the plug on Miss USA. So far, no lawsuit has been filed on that front.
Trump believes Univision and NBC are trying to suppress his right of free speech. In the lawsuit, he says the reason Univision went after him is because the network is owned by Haim Saban, a key Hillary Clinton supporter and fundraiser.
Trump is also suing for defamation, in part because he says on June 25th, Univision Prez of Programming Alberto Ciurana posted a photo on his Instagram account, comparing Trump to Dylann Roof, the 21-year-old responsible for the South Carolina church massacre.
