Trevor Ariza -- Can I Beat Michael Jordan? Hell Yes.

Houston Rockets star Trevor Ariza might've just committed basketball blasphemy ... 'cause he told TMZ Sports he thinks he'd actually beat 52-year-old Michael Jordan in a 1-on-1 game.

Trevor was in L.A. when we asked the 29-year-old who'd win in a mano a mano face-off between him and #23 ... the topic du jour amongst NBA players this summer.

"I better be able to beat him 1-on-1 right now."

Check out the clip -- Ariza's tune is slightly different from some of the other ballers we've spoken to on the subject ... namely Pistons big man Andre Drummond, who said Jordan could still get it done.
