Amanda Knox -- Killing It At Karaoke (VIDEO)

Formerly accused murderer Amanda Knox really knows how to pick a karaoke song -- 'cause she belted out one with a pretty dark theme in NYC.

Knox took a stab at the Cranberries hit "Zombie" Tuesday night at Keats, a karaoke bar. We're told the patrons at the bar cheered when Knox arrived.

Earlier in the evening, Knox attended the Innocence Project Gala at the Grand Hyatt Hotel nearby. Comedian John Mulaney was honored with an award and posted a pic with Knox, whom he described as "brave and wonderful."

Knox had stood trial in Italy for the grisly murder of Meredith Kercher in 2007 -- and was finally exonerated just this past March.
