St. Louis Rams stud Aaron Donald -- the 2014 Defensive Rookie of the Year -- just surprised his father with a brand new truck ... and dad's reaction is priceless!!!

Donald had one helluva season after the Rams selected him in the 1st round of the 2014 NFL Draft ... chalking up 9 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

And now that he's got a little more job security ... Donald decided to share some of the wealth from his $10 million rookie contract.
