Chris Johnson Shooting -- Family Raising Money for Victim's Mom

The man who died in the Chris Johnson shooting is being laid to rest this weekend ... and the victim's family is selling shirts to help raise money for his mother ... TMZ Sportshas learned.

As we previously reported, Johnson's friend "Rollie" was killed in a drive by shooting earlier this month in Orlando, Florida. Johnson was struck in the shoulder, but survived.

Now, we're told Rollie's family is organizing funeral services for the 28-year-old for the weekend -- but we're told the situation has been especially tough (emotionally and financially) for his mother, Ms. Diane.

So, to help her out ... friends and family members have made shirts to honor Rollie -- and are selling them with the proceeds going to Rollie's mom.

We're told Chris plans on attending the funeral -- and is currently en route to Orlando.

As for the shooting, we're told cops are still investigating -- but no arrests have been made.
