Robert Durst I'm Going Back to Cali ... Could Face Murder Trial #2
Robert Durst just faced a judge in New Orleans, and as expected ... he will not fight extradition to Los Angeles to face charges for the murder of Susan Berman in 2000.
The subject of HBO's "The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst" was in court for the extradition hearing ... sporting a prisoner orange jumpsuit. The 71-year-old real estate heir spoke briefly to tell the judge he was waiving his right to fight the extradition, following his arrest Saturday.
Prosecutors did not read the affidavit for his arrest in the Berman case ... so it's still unclear how much of a role HBO's footage played in the bust.
During last night's finale ... Durst was in the bathroom by himself when he said he had "killed them all." He was still mic'd up from his interview with 'Jinx' producers. In addition to Berman's murder ... Durst has been investigated for his wife's 1982 disappearance -- and was acquitted of murdering a neighbor in Texas in 2001.
One of Durst's attorneys has accused 'Jinx' producers of double-crossing Durst since they shared information with police.
