CeeLo Green -- Emotional and Humble with Homeless Vets

CeeLo Green is getting the equivalent of straight As in his efforts to complete his court-ordered community service -- in other words ... he's the anti-Lohan.

CeeLo was sentenced to 3 years probation and 360 hours of community service following his no contest plea to furnishing ecstasy to a woman he was on a date with back in 2012 -- and TMZ just obtained his latest report from his probation officer.

He's completed 151 hours of community service, and 31 hours of individual drug and alcohol therapy. According to the therapist ... CeeLo sometimes gets emotional when discussing the work he's done with homeless veterans living on L.A.'s Skid Row.

CeeLo was in court Monday for a progress hearing, and since he's been doing so well ... he was informed he would not have to attend any future hearings.

The therapist also says he shows "genuine humbleness" whenever she asks him about his work on a new album ... which does NOT count toward his community service hours.

That's not always clear to some celebs.
