Chris Pratt -- Wait, I'm The Next Indiana Jones ... If You Say So, Sure?

Chris Pratt is getting into "Indy" flicks -- and getting handy with a bullwhip -- at least everyone hopes he is ... and he's not doing much to squash the blockbuster rumor.

If you missed it, there's been buzz that Pratt will be the next "Indiana Jones" ... and Wednesday night at LAX, our photog (and a clever autograph seeker) got Chris to answer the big question.

CP was on his way back from a hunting trip, and claimed he's been busy killing things in the woods -- so he tries to play the "ignorance is bliss" card at first.

But watch Pratt's short roundabout answers ... to us, it sounds like there's more than a chance.
