Lindsay Lohan wasn't lying when she said she picked up the chikungunya virus while vacationing in Bora Bora ... because her doctor says that's exactly what was ailing her.
Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, told us as she left the courthouse, the doctor's notes she submitted to the judge this AM validated what Lindsay claimed.
TMZ broke the story ... LiLo was laid up in the hospital last week and her people claimed she had the virus which is carried by mosquitos.
