Kevin Hart no doubt has power in Hollywood ... he got a suspended National Car Rental driver her job back ... and then got a pass from cops for making an illegal turn.
It all started when driver Genesha Bradley-Douglas stopped her bus at LAX -- leaving passengers stranded for less than a minute -- so she could take a selfie with Kevin Hart. Apparently National wasn't happy when they saw our video and sidelined her.
But Thursday Kevin made his plea for mercy in a short video directed at National ... and hours later Genesha was back on the bus.
You gotta see this video. He calls it "The Kevin Hart Effect" ... an effect that also works on cops.
