Beanie Sigel -- Released From Prison ... Half Way Home

Rapper Beanie Sigel is back on the streets ... a free man after spending 2 years behind bars.

Beanie was popped in 2012 for dodging the taxman to the tune of $700,000 between 2003-05.

Beanie's worked with some of the biggest names in rap -- including Snoop and Jay Z -- but his career essentially died after his first trip to the big house in 2004 ... for drug and gun crimes.

Law enforcement sources tell us Beanie will spend time at a halfway house to help him transition.

DJ Drama posted a photo of Beanie on Instagram ... welcoming the rapper home.
