Steve Nash vs. Dirk Nowitzki -- International Soccer Smackdown in NYC!!!

It was Canada vs. Germany in NYC Wednesday as NBA stars Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki had the only international footie war happening outside of Brazil this week ... and TMZ Sports has the video.

The two stars, joined by other NBAers like Mason Plumlee and Kyrie Irving, showed up for "The Steve Nash Foundation Showdown" ... Nash's annual charity soccer game.

For the record ... Nash's team won the game, but Dirk won the MVP.
