Spelling Bee Judge Blurts Out 'Milkshake' Lyrics ... For No Good Reason
One of the judges at the Scripps National Spelling Bee loves Kelis -- or milkshakes -- and proved it by randomly quoting her classic song ... instead of using an unrelated word in a sentence. Warm it up!!!
The judge was Dr. Jacques Bailly, who won the title himself back in 1980. He was supposed to be using "feijoada" in a sentence, but instead stated, "While Tabitha discovered that her milkshake brought all the boys to the yard ..." -- before cutting himself off.
The contestant went on to spell the word (BTW, it's a Brazilian stew) correctly ... we're guessing Kelis would not have.
