'Story of a Girl' Group Hits Up Nashville ... 14 Years Later

It's almost like they ended up on a milk carton ... 14 years after "Absolutely (Story of a Girl)" became a massive hit, Nine Days hit up Nashville ... and they sound pretty good.

The group was a one hit wonder ... striking gold in April, 2000. No one has heard from them since ... except we're guessing immediate family.

The band grudgingly played "Story of a Girl" ... as they put it, to get it out of the way so they could do country.
