David Spade has something in common with all your un-original friends ... they dressed up as foxes for Halloween this year.

That's right ... Spade (and millions of others) took a page from the wildly popular viral video "The Fox (What Does the Fox Say)" by Ylvis ... and rocked the trendy costume.

At least he didn't dress up like Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards.
