Lady Gaga & Rihanna Alleged Con Men Charged in Fake Concert Scheme
Two men have just been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly organizing bogus Lady Gaga and Rihanna concerts -- and according to prosecutors, they absconded with more than $2 million from gullible promoters.
The Manhattan D.A. just announced ... Sylvester Vincent Carroll (aka Vincent Carroll) and Meceo McEaddy (aka Ray Annis) have been charged with grand larceny and scheming to defraud in the first degree, both felonies. Carroll also faces additional charges of criminal tax fraud.
The men are accused of pretending to represent Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and even Ke$ha in order to bilk concert promoters out of tons of money.
According to the D.A., the schemes began in 2010 and went as far as Brazil, Taiwan, and Mexico -- with Carroll and McEaddy pocketing more than $2 mil and blowing the cash on cars, hotels, jewelry, and restaurants.
The two men are still in custody.
