'Price Is Right' Model Wins $775k and Counting In 'Wide Load' Preggo Lawsuit
"The Price Is Right" model who sued producers -- claiming they wrongfully 86'd her for getting pregnant -- just won a $775,000 judgment, and the amount could grow.
As TMZ previously reported ... Brandi Cochran filed a suit against the game show back in 2010 ... claiming when she got pregnant, she was subjected to cruel insults from producers (like "wide load") and ultimately fired.
Now, a jury has decided in her favor, awarding Cochran $775,000 in damages -- and she could walk away with more if the jury finds the producers acted maliciously, which opens up the possibility of punitive damages.
Who knew pregnancy pays?
3:05 PM PT -- A rep for the production company behind TPIR calls the verdict "the result of a flawed process" -- claiming the court "refused to allow the jury to hear and consider that 40% of our models have been pregnant and other important evidence to our defense."
The rep adds, "We expect to be fully vindicated after the matter has been reviewed and stand behind executive producer Mike Richards and the staff of 'The Price is Right.'"
