Baz Luhrmann 'Great Gatsby' Director Injured On Set
Director Baz Luhrmann hit his head on a camera crane while filming "The Great Gatsby" in Sydney and the injury shut down production for the holidays earlier than expected.
Co-producer Anton Monsted told the Sydney Morning Herald, "We were on quite a cramped set and he was ducking under the crane. He struck his head on the weights on the end of the camera crane. He split open his head and we had to get the doctor."
Luhrmann required three stitches and the producers decide to send everyone home for the holidays a day early.
