Amy's Family: 'She Leaves a Gaping Hole in Our Lives'
The family of Amy Winehouse is commenting today on her untimely death, asking for "privacy and space at this terrible time."
A rep for her parents, Mitch and Janis Winehouse (above with Amy in 2008), released a statement that reads:
"Our family has been left bereft by the loss of Amy, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives. We are coming together to remember her and we would appreciate some privacy and space at this terrible time."
