We're told Ryan and Scarlett are living apart. And we're told it's amicable.

The rep for Ryan and Scarlett tells TMZ, "After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

Ryan told GQ in September, Scarlett was "the best part" of his life, though he said having a family was "a few years down the road."

Ryan was named PEOPLE magazine's Sexiest Man Alive last month.

Interesting -- the couple was rarely seen out together. The most visible appearance -- at the Tony Awards this past June.

The couple was married in September, 2008.

He may be shooting a new "Mission: Impossible" flick, but the only guns on set with Tom Cruise yesterday were his arms.

Cruise was spotted showing off his muscles while filming "Ghost Protocol" in Vancouver -- and they've certainly been getting a workout, as Tom has been doing a lot of his own stunts for the movie.

Though they traveled with him to Prague for filming in September, Katie Holmes and Suri weren't on set this week -- Katie's been shooting her new movie with Adam Sandler in L.A.

Ozzy Osbourne put his sick-ass Ferrari in mortal danger yesterday -- TMZ has learned the Prince of Darkness rear-ended another car in L.A. ... and then looked confused about it.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, it all went down yesterday morning -- Ozzy's Ferrari hit a Mercedes from behind right before entering an L.A. highway.

We're told both parties waited for police to arrive and then traded information -- departing without incident. There were no injuries and damage was minor.

The rock star's rep didn't immediately comment. As for the confused expression -- well ... it's Ozzy.

Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez made some very public displays of affection this weekend -- amid rumors the baseball stud was seen flirting with "Real Housewives of New York" star Kelly Bensimon.

The couple, who is usually very private, had their hands all over each other this weekend when cameras caught them in Miami on Friday -- just days after Page Six reported A-Rod "had his arm 'round Kelly and they were flirting" at a party.

Rodriguez's rep shot down the rumor -- and, this weekend, the only one he had his arm around was Cam.
