'Survivor' Producer Can't Run from U.S.
Bruce Beresford-Redman cannot leave the United States ... with or without his children, government officials tell TMZ.
The family of Monica Burgos Beresford-Redman expressed deep concern last night that Bruce might flee with his two kids.
But a U.S. State Department official tells TMZ ... Bruce -- whose passport was confiscated in Mexico -- cannot get another passport.
If he applies, he must sign a sworn statement explaining the nature of travel and reason why he needs a second passport. That application would flag the fact that Mexico is holding his passport and that would make him ineligible for a second one.
On top of that, we've obtained court documents which show a L.A. County Superior Court judge ordered that the passports of Bruce's two kids be surrendered. So they can't leave the country either.
