Community Wants No Prison Break for Lane Garrison
Lane Garrison will be in court tomorrow for sentencing in the DUI accident that killed a Beverly Hills High student -- and the victim's friends and family are seeking the maximum penalty.
Friends of 17-year old Vahagn Setian were outside a Beverly Hills court today -- along with other students and a spokesperson for the Setian family -- to present 3,600 signatures to the judge, each demanding he be sentenced to serve six years and eight months for vehicular manslaughter, DUI and providing alcohol to a minor.
A student and close friend, Alexa, read a statement to the press, pleading, "To do anything else sends a terrible message to young people, the community and others who drink and drive."
