Kim Trains for the First Time
So, this weekend was pretty hectic, but still a lot of fun.
Things started off early Friday with a photo shoot for Look Magazine. It was really cool, but by the end of the day I was completely knackered. (British slang for exhausted.)
Saturday, a couple of friends and I headed to the Download Music Festival to check out Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park and 30 Seconds to Mars. The festival is two hours outside London, so we took the train there. OK, I know this may sound crazy, but it was my first time on a train -- ever! It was actually really fun though. Who knew?!
Sunday was amazing because my little brother and sister arrived in town and we all got to hang out. In L.A., we usually go to the beach to chill, but in London everyone goes to Hyde Park. It was such a gorgeous day, we decided to get a big blanket, some food and have a picnic. But can I just tell you, the food in London is brutal. Seriously. The city and the people are amazing, but it's really true what they say about the food. I've been living on scones all week!
Monday, I had a swimsuit photo shoot for the Evening Standard magazine. I had to wear a bathing suit in a pool in the freezing cold rain. Miserable. Afterwards, I did a little shopping and hit one of my favorite stores -- TopShop. I checked out Kate Moss' line there and picked up some adorable pieces.
Now I'm getting ready to put on my club shoes and hit up London's finest hotspots. I'll let you know how that goes.
