Howard Fights Tears: "I Didn't Think She Was Going to Die"
Voice cracking and on the verge of tears, Howard K. Stern said he didn't imagine that Anna Nicole Smith was going to die, nor did Anna Nicole, and thus neither Stern nor Smith drew up a living will or durable power of attorney in case she passed away.
Earlier, Stern said that all of Anna Nicole's computers, diaries, files, contracts and other items had been stolen from their Bahamas home -- documents that might reveal Smith's intent for her burial. Stern added that he has not been able to retrieve any of the stolen material.
