Rapper Proof Killed in Detroit Nightclub Shooting

Rapper Proof, whose real name Deshaun Holton, was fatally shot Tuesday at a nightclub in Detroit. Proof was a close friend of Eminem and a member of the rap group D12.
His death was confirmed by Dennis Dennehy, the publicist for D12's label, Interscope Records.
In a statement to the Associated Press, Dennehy said "Memorial service arrangements are still being made, and his friends and family would appreciate privacy during this difficult time."
Proof was the best man at Eminem's wedding in January and also appeared in the film '8 Mile.'
