"A lot of people think, 'If I'm drinking the calories, they just don't count,'" said Lisa Lillien, founder of hungry-girl.com. Now Lillien is showing "Extra" how to whip up
some of your favorite frozen treats that are 100 percent guilt free.
All you need are a few key ingredients: instant coffee, sugar-free syrups, fat-free powdered creamer, sugar-free chocolate syrup, calorie-free sweetener, light vanilla soy milk, fat-free whip cream and a blender!
"You get the same creamy delicious flavorful frozen beverages all the time," she promised.
So the next time you have the urge to do a Starbucks run, think about this: a tall Starbucks Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino is nearly a Quarter Pounder in a cup!
The Hungry Girl version, called the Strawberry Cloud, has the same great taste, but with only 130 calories and one gram of fat.
If you love the taste of a Cafe Vanilla Frappuccino, you will love Hungry Girl's version -- the Vanilla Café Freeze. Both drinks have the same great taste, with only one minor difference: Starbucks' version has a whopping 340 calories and 11 grams of fat, compared to a cool 98 calories and one gram of fat in the Hungry Girl version!
Another cool flavor you may want to try is Hungry Girl's Mint Mocha Freeze. The drink has only 58 calories and absolutely no fat, compared to a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frap that deliciously conceals 330 calories and 12 grams of fat!
But if you can't possibly live without that Starbucks drink, ask for the light version of your favorite treat. A tall size has between 140 and180 calories, which cuts out at least 200 calories!
