Rams running back Kyren Williams came to his teammate's defense during "Monday Night Football" ... but he had a pretty unique way of doing it -- poking his Dolphins opponent's ear in a bizarre in-game moment!!

It went down during the second quarter of the primetime matchup ... after Miami defensive back Kader Kohou gave L.A. wide receiver Demarcus Robinson a shove -- which Williams didn't take lightly.

Instead of escalating the situation further with a shove of his own, Williams responded with a wet willy-esque tactic.

Tyreek Hill nearly didn't play in the Dolphins' big win Monday night due to a wrist injury that he says was made significantly worse by the cops who got physical with him during that now-famous September traffic stop in Miami.

The wideout made the revelation to ESPN's Lisa Salters ... just minutes before he was cleared to go in the Fins' "Monday Night Football" matchup with the Rams at SoFi Stadium.

Salters said on the game's broadcast that Hill told her he first sustained the ailment during training camp ... but once Miami-Dade officers ripped him out of his sportscar and threw him in cuffs back on Sept. 8 -- it got much worse.

Braxton Berrios' season is over ... he's been officially diagnosed with a torn ACL -- but his girlfriend, Alix Earle, is making it clear she's going to be in his corner until he's back and better than ever.

The Dolphins star return man was hurt during Miami's 16-10 loss to the Colts on Sunday ... and after test results Monday revealed he'll need several months to return to 100 percent, Earle took to her Instagram page to express her heartbreak over the situation.

She did, though, say she was confident her man would get back to 100 percent despite the severity of the ailment ... and she vowed to be there with him every step of the way.

Despite suffering yet another scary head injury, Tua Tagovailoa is still going to try to return to the NFL -- so says his close family friend, Manti Te'o.

The former New Orleans Saints linebacker made the revelation to us out in Los Angeles this week -- some 21 days after Tagovailoa sustained his third diagnosed concussion in a "Thursday Night Football" matchup with the Bills.

Te'o says while he's tried to give the 26-year-old signal-caller his space as he recovers from the brain trauma ... he did recently speak with the Dolphins star's father -- and from everything he's hearing, Tua is "going to try to get back."

Damar Hamlin got his first-ever interception against the Jaguars on Monday night -- and considering he nearly lost his life the last time he played on a Monday ... the moment was super sweet.

The scene unfolded late in the second quarter of Buffalo's 47-10 "Monday Night Football" win over Jacksonville ... when Trevor Lawrence sailed a pass over his intended target's head on a first-and-10 throw.

The ball landed right in Hamlin's chest -- and after he secured it, he took it back some 20-or-so yards ... and once he hit the ground, the crowd at Highmark Stadium erupted -- giving him arguably the biggest cheer of the night.

Tyreek Hill has just hired a slew of new attorneys -- including one who helped represent George Floyd's family following his death in 2020 -- in an effort to try to ignite national police reform following his now-infamous run-in with cops in Miami earlier this month.

Hill's original lawyer in the case, Julius B. Collins, announced the hirings on Monday morning ... some two weeks after the NFL superstar was pulled out of his sports car and thrown onto the ground by Miami-Dade Police officers during a routine traffic stop.

Collins revealed he'll now be joined by Jeffrey A. Neiman, Stephen B. Kelly, Jr. and Devon M. Jacob -- who worked alongside Ben Crump in Floyd's family's 2020 civil case -- as Hill pushes for change in police departments across the nation.

If Dr. Bennet Omalu -- the brain expert credited with the discovery of CTE -- was running either the NFL or the Miami Dolphins ... he tells TMZ Sports he'd force Tua Tagovailoa to retire following his latest head injury.

The inspiration for the famous Will Smith "Concussion" movie didn't mince words when talking about the matter on Friday ... saying straight up the consequences for allowing the 26-year-old back on the field after yet another concussion could be dire.

Specifically, Omalu says if Tagovailoa were to sustain another significant blow to the brain -- he could become "permanently incapacitated."

The cop who put his knee in Tyreek Hill's back and aggressively slapped handcuffs on the NFL superstar during a traffic stop last weekend has been accused of excessive force in the past, TMZ Sports has learned.

According to Miami-Dade Police Department records we obtained, officer Danny Torres has received numerous complaints since joining the MDPD back in October 1996.

The records show that on six separate occasions, he was accused of misconduct, including force violations as well as improper procedures. Torres was also investigated for his use of force at least 13 times as well.

NFL players are seriously worried about Tua Tagovailoa's health after his scary concussion during "Thursday Night Football" ... with everyone from Tony Gonzalez and Shannon Sharpe to Antonio Brown urging the Dolphins quarterback to consider retirement.

Gonzalez, a Hall of Famer, was broadcasting the Bills vs. Dolphins game ... so he got a first-hand view of all that went down in the 3rd quarter, when Tagovailoa seemed to lose consciousness after a hard collision with Damar Hamlin.

Tagovailoa, 26, was taken off the field with help from the training staff and was ruled out for the rest of the game.

Tyreek Hill is calling for the officer at the center of his controversial detainment to get the boot ASAP ... claiming his use of force during the traffic stop was "excessive, escalating, and reckless."

The Miami Dolphins superstar's attorney, Julius B. Collins, released a statement on his behalf ... saying his legal team thoroughly reviewed footage of the incident and noted several instances in which they believe the cop crossed the line.

Hill's team listed each issue ... stating the officer twice placed his hands around his neck, forcefully pulled him out of his sportscar and put him face-down on the pavement.

TMZ Sports obtained the two traffic citations given to Tyreek Hill on Sunday, and cops say he was driving his McLaren 720S about 20 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

30-year-old Hill was cited for careless driving and failing to wear his seat belt ahead of the Miami Dolphins season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars ... a routine stop that turned ugly after a dispute between the NFL superstar and officers on the scene.

"High rate [of] speed visual estimation 60 MPH, no seat belt. High [traffic] of pedestrians and [vehicles]," one of the cops noted on the careless driving ticket.

NFL super agent Drew Rosenhaus is calling for swift and severe punishment for the officers involved in the Tyreek Hill traffic stop ... saying all the cops who got physical with the Dolphins superstar during his detainment should lose their jobs.

Rosenhaus addressed the incident during an interview on "The Dan LeBatard Show with Stugotz" on Tuesday ... and he's adamant his client's actions did not warrant the officers' "outrageous" conduct.

Rosenhaus said he just spoke with Hill prior to the show appearance ... and said the receiver feared he could have been shot -- or even killed -- during the stop.

Tyreek Hill says his interaction with police went from calm to chaotic in a matter of moments ... and it made him feel like police viewed him as a threat.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver is speaking out about Sunday's traffic stop detainment outside the team's stadium ... telling NBC News things "went from 0 to 60 immediately."

Tyreek says things got super tense with police as he was in the process of getting out of his car ... that's when officers suddenly yanked him out of the car and threw him to the ground.

Tyreek Hill is sharing more of his side of the recent run-in with police ... claiming things only escalated when cops grew upset with how he operated his window during the traffic stop before the Dolphins' season opener.

Hill's attorney, Julius B. Collins, shared a statement on his behalf ... stating when the NFL superstar was initially pulled over for a traffic violation, he rolled down the window of his McLaren sportscar to hand over his license -- but proceeded to roll it back up.

According to Hill, an officer then knocked on the glass and instructed him to either keep the window down or be forced to get out of the vehicle.

Odell Beckham Jr. was one of several people who stopped to watch Tyreek Hill's run-in with cops on Sunday morning ... and like everyone else at the scene, he wondered out loud "what the f*** happened?"
