Members of the famed Jackson family arrived at a Los Angeles-area cemetery Monday to say their goodbyes to Tito Jackson ... more than a month after the singer's death.
The founding member of The Jackson 5 was laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park cemetery in Glendale, California -- where his own brother, Michael Jackson, was entombed after his 2009 death at the age of 50.
The King of Pop's children, Paris and Blanket Jackson, were notably in attendance at their uncle's funeral ... as they were seen mingling with their family members outside the packed service.
Janet Jackson is officially back to wow fans in Las Vegas ... and now we know exactly when the superstar will return to Sin City for a new residency.
As we previously reported ... JJ was in the final stages of signing a residency deal with Resorts World ... and the plan was for the show to kick off in December.
Now we know the deal is solid ... with Janet sharing via social media the residency will kick off New Year's week -- specifically Dec. 30 ... with tickets going on sale Aug. 28.
Janet Jackson fans, get ready ... 'cause she’s gearing up for a Las Vegas return with a new residency, TMZ has learned.
Sources with direct knowledge tell us ... Janet’s in the final stages of signing a residency deal with Resorts World. We're told the plan is for the show to kick off in December. Our sources say she's also set to ring in the New Year with a special NYE performance at the famous venue.
We’re hearing Janet’s residency at the Resorts World Theatre will be a relatively short stint ... but the final details and dates are still being hammered out.
Michael Jackson's family is involved in a complex legal battle ... and they're not all on the same side in this one -- 'cause MJ's son Blanket is trying to stop his own grandmother from using estate money in her ongoing fight.
Here's the deal ... Blanket -- MJ's youngest son, whose real name is Bigi Jackson -- filed documents this week, obtained by TMZ, asking the court not to allow his grandmother Katherine to use Michael's estate money to fund an appeal of a previous ruling.
Basically, Blanket and his grandmother were recently working together to stop the executors of Jackson's estate from going through with a huge business transaction that they were very much so against.
The docs don't say exactly what the transaction was -- it's been shrouded in mystery throughout this saga -- but, based on recent reporting, it seems like it may be related to the deal the estate made with Sony to sell about half of Michael's music catalog for $600M.
Blanket explains he and his grandmother presented their arguments opposing the deal ... but ultimately the court ruled against them -- seemingly bringing the legal issue to a close.
However, Katherine's decided to appeal the ruling ... a move Blanket says he doesn’t want any part of -- and, more importantly ... he doesn't want his father's estate paying for her legal bills. As you know, he's an heir to the estate ... so that cash is pretty important to him.
The way Blanket explains it in the docs ... the appeal has little chance of winning, and he says he doesn't think it truly benefits the beneficiaries of the trust to continue the fight -- so, he simply doesn't want the estate to foot the bill for it ... something Katherine wants.
TMZ.com
Blanket's also asked the court to use its best judgment to grant Katherine reasonable attorney's fees incurred from the pre-appeal battle -- which he agrees she's entitled to ... at least to a certain extent.
It's unsurprising Blanket's filing against Katherine ... just yesterday, executors of Michael's estate reportedly claimed that she receives a seven-figure allowance for the year -- money Blanket presumably would rather she use for the appeal instead of the estate's dough.
Seems like the family's not totally seeing eye to eye on this one ... a judge has yet to rule.
Some people in L.A. probably did a double take Friday thinking they saw Michael Jackson walking around.
But it was actually the spitting image of the late "King of Pop" -- namely his nephew, Jaafar Jackson, who was on his way to shoot scenes for MJ's upcoming biopic, "Michael."
It's truly amazing how much Jaafar looks almost exactly like the world-famous singer, especially when he's in costume.
Check out these photos, obtained by TMZ, which show Jaafar on the movie set, sporting MJ's famous red varsity jacket next to a Tower Records pop-up shop and a huge ad promoting the entertainer's 1979 album, "Off The Walls."
As we reported ... Jaafar -- the son of Jermaine Jackson -- was spotted Thursday shooting scenes for the flick in LA's Encino neighborhood.
Actress Nia Long, who is playing Michael's mom, Katherine Jackson, also appeared on set Thursday. Colman Domingo wasn't there, but he snagged the role of MJ's dad, Joe Jackson, and has been spotted with the cast.

The first full-length film about MJ's life is scheduled to be released in April 2025.
Michael Jackson's children, Prince and Paris Jackson, honored him in a special way ... sharing kind words as they introduced a tribute performance of his Broadway musical at the Tony Awards.
The duo introduced a performance from "MJ the Musical" -- the Broadway show all about the making of Jackson's 1992 Dangerous World Tour.
Prince told the audience, "A lot of people seem to think our dad Michael Jackson changed popular music forever,' before adding: 'And, who are we to disagree?"
"But, what people may not know is he loved musicals, on film and on the stage. That's why we are so incredibly honored to introduce the night's first nominee for best musical, 'MJ', which, using many of his iconic hits, looks at the complexities and brilliance of our father's process."
Paris added, it was a great honor to be on stage introducing the musical performance, along with actor Myles Frost, who plays their dad ... and the rest of the cast. The show was nominated for 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
Myles seemed to do their dad's role justice cause he also won Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role -- his first Tony ever!
Janet Jackson's revealing a painful aspect of her tight relationship with Michael Jackson -- claiming he brutally taunted her about her weight, and she says it had a lasting impact on her.
Janet opens up about her brother in the upcoming documentary, "Janet," and reportedly says Michael teased her by hurling insults like "pig, horse, slaughter hog'' during their childhood.
That might sound like typical sibling jabs -- she does say they both laughed at the time ... but JJ also says it hurt her deep down.
The 2-part docu-series premieres Friday night on A&E and Lifetime, and shows Janet discussing her weight issues, and much more about Michael -- including the molestation accusations against him and how they impacted her career.
Janet also gets into her marriages and relationships with James DeBarge, Rene Elizondo Jr., Jermaine Dupri and Wissam Al Mana ... the father of her son.
As for Michael's cruel remarks -- according to Daily Mail, Janet says in the doc ... "When you have somebody say you're too heavy, it affects you."
Janet and Michael were famously very close -- she's said Michael and Randy Jackson were the siblings she bonded with most -- but it looks like the "Janet" docuseries is about to reveal a new facet of their relationship.
Janet Jackson's brothers are thanking Justin Timberlake for stepping up and taking responsibility for his role in the infamous Super Bowl Halftime wardrobe malfunction, and hanging their sister out to dry.
Tito, Marlon and Jackie Jackson appeared on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM radio show Wednesday and opened up for the first time about JT's apology, saying they appreciated him finally saying something ... albeit, 17 years after the fact.
Marlon said, "First of all, I just want to thank Justin Timberlake. It takes a man to step up and do that, so we do thank him." That being said ... Marlon added they'd like to move on from the negativity that surrounded the Super Bowl XXXVIII incident.
In case you were in diapers back in 2004 ... Justin and Janet were embroiled in controversy when a "wardrobe malfunction" exposed Janet's breast to MILLIONS of viewers tuning in to the highly-anticipated Halftime Show.
It seemed everyone BUT Justin suffered for an incident dubbed "Nipplegate" -- Janet's career took a big hit, and the FCC slapped CBS with a $550k indecency fine.

Two years later, during an interview with Oprah, Janet said she felt Justin left her hanging with all of the emphasis put on her "as opposed to us."
Nearly 20 years later ... Justin apologized specifically to Janet for situations "where I spoke out of turn or did not speak up for what was right."
Michael Jackson's cousin claims to have his last IV drip -- the one that delivered the fatal dose of Propofol -- and she's ready to part ways with the macabre memorabilia.
The IV setup includes the tubing and the bag used to administer drugs, and even has bloodstain from the King of Pop ... according to his cousin, Marsha Stewart, who claims she took it from his bedroom shortly after his death.
Marsha says she swiped the IV from the rented Holmby Hills mansion where Michael died. She claims she saw it near Michael's bed, and that there was a "white milk fluid" -- an accurate description of Propofol -- inside the bag, which has since dissolved.
Still, Michael's cousin says traces of his blood on the device caught her eye and made her want to put it in her purse to take home.
Now, the IV drip is going up for auction through Memorabilia Expert Auctions in Sin City, and the auction house is looking to get at least $2,500 for this gruesome piece of MJ history.
As for the validity of the item? It seems odd to us that police would not have collected the IV as evidence at the scene. We're reaching out to MJ's Estate to see what their take is on it.
Michael Jackson's imprint on Halloween culture is living on through his children -- one of whom's got an interesting tidbit about how his late father would celebrate ... incognito.
Prince Jackson hosted the third annual 'Thriller Night' at the Jackson family estate Friday night, which was all done in partnership with the charity Heal LA Foundation -- a nonprofit that emulates MJ's Heal the World org, but with a focus on those struggling in Los Angeles.

Tons of members of the Jackson clan rolled through, including Paris and Blanket (who goes by Bigi now), as well as Michael's nephews Taryll, TJ and Taj Jackson ... they all wore costumes.
While being interviewed outside the party, Prince shared a nice little nugget about life with their dad during the spooky holiday ... which, as it turns out, was one of the only times MJ could get out in public with his family without so much hoopla and attention.
PJ says because it's acceptable to be in costume for Halloween, MJ would take advantage and go trick-or-treating with the kids. Sounds like those outings were successful to a certain extent. MJ's nephews say there was always a tell that'd give him away. Any guesses???
As for what went down inside the actual party, it seemed pretty family-friendly ... with what appeared to be a haunted maze built in, and a 'Thriller' tribute show put on by dancers.

Of course, Michael's signature song has become a Halloween staple -- and tons of people still jam out to it and even rock his look from the music vid to this day. Again, a classic.
Controversies aside, it looks like the fam's keeping that going for a good cause. Good on them.
Paris Jackson was hauling ass near Universal Studios Hollywood -- according to cops, anyway -- and ended up with a ticket in hand, but not for the amusement park.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Michael's daughter was busted on the 101 freeway last month by the California Highway Patrol for going well over 90 MPH in a 65 MPH zone.
We're told she was driving in her 2017 Jeep Wrangler around 1:00 AM when the cop pulled her over, and she was cited for speeding.
It's unclear if there was anyone else in the ride with her at the time.

We know Paris has been focused on her music career this year -- playing gigs around L.A. from time to time -- and seems like she's got the right stuff to be the next Danica Patrick.
Seriously though ... speeding is bad. Don't do it.
Janet Jackson left what may be her number 1 one fan SHOOK after he achieved viral fame with an epic reaction video to snagging tickets to her show. Yup, she took notice.
Entrepreneur KB Strawder Jr. documented the sweet interaction from start to finish, which ended on a high note Sunday when his father got to meet the one and only Janet backstage after one of her Metamorphosis concerts this weekend at the Park MGM hotel and casino.
It was the perfect time to catch her too -- Janet's residency ends on August 17, and she's only doing 3 more shows between now and then.
Remember my dads reaction on Father’s Day to him finding out he was going to see @JanetJackson show in Las Vegas?....well we went to the show and there was one more surprise. pic.twitter.com/NjMAQOMWkN
In the clip, you see KB's dad talking to what looks like the media, and then Janet sneaks up behind him. As he shares some kind words about her and highlights his favorite parts of the show, Janet wraps her around him ... saying she's glad he enjoyed it.
Safe to say ... this guy's soul might've jumped out of his body for a second based on his reaction here. They go in for a hug afterward, and talk for a bit longer too.
The meet-n-greet comes a couple months after KB recorded his dad receiving the tickets as a Father's Day gift, which was quite a moment in and of itself.
At the time, KB's Twitter video caught a bit of steam, and he later tagged Janet ... hoping to catch her attention. He wrote, "Thank you all so much for the love. My dad is excited that you all are excited for him. Follow me on Instagram @Real_KB and I’ll make sure to post the entire trip on my IGTV Hopefully @JanetJackson will see this!"

Welp, she heard him loud and clear ... and really seemed to make this dad's dream come true. Awesome story all around.
Janet Jackson has broken her silence amid new allegations against her brother, Michael Jackson, in "Leaving Neverland" -- and her message is simple ... his rep will be just fine.
Michael's younger sister spoke with The Sunday Times, and addressed what she thought would happen to the King of Pop's legacy going forward ... saying, "It will continue." Janet went on to say that she still sees Michael's influence in the world today ... a reassuring sign.
Janet says, "I love it when I see kids emulating him, when adults still listen to his music. It just lets you know the impact that my family has had on the world." She added, "I hope I'm not sounding arrogant in any way -- I'm just stating what it is. It's really all God's doing, and I'm just thankful for that."
In the interview, Janet did not speak on Wade Robson and James Safechuck's specific allegations head-on ... but it's pretty clear where she stands on the issue. According to Billboard, Janet has been playing Michael's tunes during her concerts without hesitation.
She's also defended him in the past, specifically when Jordy Chandler accused Michael of sexual abuse in '93. At the time, Janet called it a money grab.
Other members of Michael's family have gone to bat for him in the wake of "Leaving Neverland," calling Wade and James' claims full-blown lies. His estate is even taking HBO to court for airing the explosive documentary ... saying the network violated a decades-old contract they signed with him back in the day, in which it agreed not to disparage MJ.
Janet's latest comments come just days ahead of Michael's 10-year death anniversary. TMZ broke the story ... MJ died on June 25, 2009. He was 50 years old.
Michael Jackson would have been proud because his oldest son is now a college grad.
Prince Jackson graduated Saturday from Loyola Marymount University in L.A., snagging a degree in business administration.
TJ Jackson, who has been a surrogate parent to Prince, Paris and Blanket since Michael's death in 2009, was on hand and said, "Prince, it's been a long road but you did it. Keep learning, keep growing and keep giving back! So so proud of you. I love you."
Prince rode his motorcycle to the ceremony at the Loyola campus.
Unclear what Prince will do with his degree. He said back in 2016 he can't sing or dance so he's not pursuing a career in music ... at least behind the mic. He's expressed interest in producing and directing and has indicated he was inspired by music, which has obviously been a big part of his life.
Paris Jackson looked great and was in high spirits Saturday night, as she and her boyfriend performed a set at an L.A. club.
Paris and Gabriel Glenn did a set at The Mint ... a small club that has marquis value for singers. They performed Jimmy Buffett's "Margaritaville" and Bob Marley's "Redemption Song." They call themselves The Soundflowers ... the crowd loved it.

Paris's biological mother, Debbie Rowe, sat front and center ... clearly enjoying her daughter's performance. Debbie has a long and interesting relationship with Paris. She gave custody to Michael Jackson soon after Paris was born and was shut out of Paris' life for many years. After Michael's death, they forged a strong bond, but the Jackson family wasn't happy and the two became estranged again.
Paris has clearly rebound since the scare earlier this month, when EMT's rushed to her after after someone called 911 to report a suicide attempt. She was taken to the hospital but soon after released.
Paris has had a rough time since her dad passed away, but it seems like she's on the mend and doing a lot better.
