Quentin Tarantino I'll Sign Your Stuff, Paps ... But After That, So Long & GTFOH!!!

WORKIN' THE CROWD
TMZ.com

Quentin Tarantino will do the line-of-autographs thing, but don't push your luck ... 'cause he's got no problem telling you to screw off and to never bother him again. All love though.

The acclaimed director -- who's clearly still riding out the high of winning big at the Golden Globes this past weekend with "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" -- was making his way out of a hotel Wednesday in NYC ... and was met with a crush of paps and Hancock hounds.

He played along pretty well, jokingly telling the swarm of photogs to cool it and to stop following him everywhere. After that, he went down the line with a pen in hand and signed a bunch of memorabilia, making sure no one double-dipped with security in tow.

You gotta see how QT goes about talking to the mega-fans here ... telling a lot of them he never wants to see them after this, and also ... to GTFOH with their BS questions.

It's pretty hilarious, and kinda classic Quentin if you ask us. His acceptance speech on Sunday was in the same vein, humorous and a little cocky. All in good fun, of course.

Now, just imagine how he'll act if he cleans up at the Oscars in a month ... oh, boy!

Elon Musk's Mom Tesla's Money Milestone is Nice ... But It's Still NOT My Fave Elon Moment

THAT'S MY BOY!
@LionsShareNews

Elon Musk's mother is keeping it real when it comes to which of her son's achievements makes her most proud, and ya might be surprised ... it's not Tesla.

Maye Musk was out Wednesday in NYC with a huge smile ... and for good reason. Her son's car company just became the highest-valued car company in U.S. history -- with a total market value of nearly $100 billion.

To put that in perspective, that's more than General Motors and Ford combined. A huge accomplishment for sure, but Elon's mom says there's something else on her son's resume she, personally, finds more impressive.

There's plenty to choose from, for sure, although you can be pretty sure it isn't his prowess on a dance floor. Even a mother couldn't back those moves.

THE TESLA TWO-STEP

No, Maye's choice is something we'd all have to look up to ... we think. Even if you disagree, ya gotta love her energy in this clip.

Fun facts: Maye was a Miss South Africa finalist in 1969 and has modeled for tons of magazine covers, Revlon ads, and even appeared in Beyonce's "Haunted" music video.

Mike Tyson Michael Jackson Was a 'Player' Feeble Demeanor Was an Act

Mike Tyson says he hated Michael Jackson's guts for YEARS -- calling him a "cold motherf**ker" -- until he got to know the singer ... and that's when everything changed.

The boxing superstar opened up about his experience with MJ on T.I.'s "Expeditiously" podcast ... saying Jackson dissed him backstage at a concert in 1986.

Tyson says he had just become the heavyweight champion of the world -- and had become super famous -- but Jackson treated him as if he was a nobody. Tyson said MJ straight-up hurt his feelings.

"It broke my ego," Tyson said ... "It crushed me."

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Tyson says he harbored some serious animosity toward MJ for years -- saying, "That cold motherf**ker. I hated his guts forever."

But, a while later, a mutual friend approached Tyson and said MJ wanted to hang out -- so he swallowed his pride and visited with the singer, hoping to squash the beef.

UPDATE

As for the bullies coming after Justin, Hailey says, "Please do your research and listen to the stories of people who have suffered with it for years. Making fun of and belittling a disease you don't understand is never the way, all it takes is educating yourself."

UPDATE

12:37 PM PT -- Justin just reacted to our story, opening up about his Lyme diagnosis and sharing he's also suffering from a serious case of chronic mono ... which he says affected his skin, brain function and overall health. The Biebs says he'll reveal more in his docuseries.

UPDATE
UPDATE

11:49 AM PT -- Justin has a LOT planned for the new year ... he just announced on Instagram that once he wraps his tour in 2020, he and Hailey are gonna get to work on starting their family.

UPDATE
NO TIME FOR QUITTING

Justin Bieber will reveal in his documentary why so many people thought he was battling deep depression ... fact is, he was, but it was the result of contracting Lyme disease.

Sources who have seen the documentary -- which drops January 27 -- tell us Justin and others in his life discuss the scary symptoms he endured in 2019. He says during much of the year his condition went undiagnosed. Doctors struggled to figure out what was wrong with him, but couldn't put their finger on it until late last year.

You may recall this photo of Justin crying taken back in October. It's made clear in the documentary ... Justin was indeed batting extreme depression because he was suffering and no one knew what was wrong with him.

We're told no one knows how Justin contracted the disease, but it comes from a tick bite. Symptoms include rashes, headaches, fever and fatigue.

Harry and Meghan Stepping Down as Senior Royals ... Moving to Canada

UPDATE

1:18 PM PT -- Buckingham Palace just released a statement, saying, "Discussions with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at an early stage. We understand their desire to take a different approach, but these are complicated issues that will take time to work through."

This is huge ... Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are doing something unheard of in the Royal Family -- they're throwing in the towel when it comes to performing senior royal duties and are now determined to become financially independent, and our sources say part of that is moving to Canada.

Harry and Meghan just announced the big change, saying, "After many months of reflection and internal discussion, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen."

They go on ... "We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America ... This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity."

Our sources say the move to North America is actually Canada -- a British Commonwealth nation -- where Meghan has some roots. She filmed "Suits" in Toronto where she rented a house.

As for the nuance of giving up "senior royal duties" ... there is only a small group of royals who, in the absence of the Queen, carry out the duties of the Monarchy. Harry and Meghan will no longer be part of that group.

As we reported, Meghan has had an extremely difficult time adjusting to royal life and the fishbowl she found herself in. She made it clear during a recent interview ... she was not okay and struggling with her new position.

Andrew Yang Recruits LeBron For 2020 Campaign 'Let's Work Together!!!'

MEET ME ON THE COURT
TMZSports.com

Andrew Yang is looking to get a King's endorsement for his 2020 presidential campaign ... telling TMZ Sports he wants LeBron James on his side!!

The entrepreneur-turned-Democratic candidate already has a solid list of celeb backing -- from Donald Glover to Elon Musk to Rivers Cuomo from Weezer -- but no big-time athletes ... yet.

Considering Yang's a big NBA fan, we asked -- hypothetically -- which baller he'd most want as his running mate ... and it took him like, a millisecond to give us his answer.

"I'd have to go with LeBron James," Yang tells us. "He's already shown he's got a heart of gold and loves the American people."

Yang showers the Lakers superstar with praise and throws some major shade at President Trump in the process ... saying, "He certainly could do better than the guy who's currently there."

Of course, Bron has shown support for Hillary Clinton in the past ... and even introduced her at a rally in Ohio.

LBJ has also made his feelings about POTUS crystal clear ... calling him a "bum" and a clown since #45 began his presidency.

Yang thinks LeBron would be a great addition to his team ... and gives him a personal message.

"LeBron, if you're watching ... let's work together."

Gary Busey's Ex-Wife Tiani Warden Dies From Cocaine Overdose in Jail

One of Gary Busey's ex-wives, Tiani Warden, died behind bars in Texas ... and according to her autopsy, it was a cocaine overdose that killed her.

Tiani was found unresponsive in her jail cell at the Hunty County Detention Center back on Nov. 4, the day after police arrested her for public intoxication ... the Hunt County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ.

The actress died from the toxic effects of cocaine ... this according to the Dallas County Medical Examiner. They've ruled her death accidental, and say chronic ethanolism -- heavy drinking -- likely contributed to her death.

It's interesting ... when Tiani was arrested, cops said they were responding to a call of a person lying in a ditch, and the person turned out to be Warden. Police say Tiani was intoxicated and they called for an ambulance, but she refused treatment and was arrested and brought to the Hunt County Detention Center.

'Atypical' Star Graham Rogers Best Subway Seat??? Guys Gotta Spread Out 🤷🏽‍♂️

BEST SEAT IN THE HOUSE
TMZ.com

The new year's greatest debate (non-Iran related, anyway) is what's the best seat on an NYC subway -- and Graham Rogers has the perfect answer ... for men, anyway.

We ran into the "Atypical" actor in WeHo and asked him to weigh in. He did and made the pick a lot of other dudes probably would too. His reasoning's all about fellas needing space to spread out, 'cause ... y'know. Biology.

ICYMI ... the question was posed toward the end of 2019, and it's spread like wildfire online.

It's funny ... we try asking his lady friend for a woman's perspective, but she deflected back to Graham. Not a big subway rider, apparently!

Anyway, check it out, 'cause Graham's also got a backup option for his needs -- but if you think about it ... his choice could actually backfire if anyone plops down next to him.

Which Seat is the Best???

That said, we just have to ask ... where are you parking your caboose on a Subway?

'Ugly Betty' Creator Silvio Horta Battled Addiction, Depression ... Family Talks About Suicide

"Ugly Betty" creator Silvio Horta, who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, struggled with addiction and depression ... according to his family.

Horta's mother, Ana, and sister, Hilda, tell TMZ ... Silvio, who was found dead Tuesday in a Miami hotel room ... had an ongoing struggle with addiction and depression, "but through it all he always found a way to turn his struggle into laughter."

They add, "Through his friendships, his love and his work in TV and films, Silvio touched the lives of millions." They went on to say, "He was a kind and beautiful man. He may be gone but his light will shine on."

There will be a memorial service held in Miami for the 45-year-old writer and producer -- and the family says they'll also hold one in L.A. at a later date.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Silvio served as showrunner and head writer on ABC's "Ugly Betty" starring America Ferrera. He was nominated for an Emmy in 2007 and won the Writers Guild Award for Best New Series the same year.

Horta's Hollywood career took off after he wrote the screenplay for the 1998 horror flick, "Urban Legend." He was working with Mary J. Blige on a musical dramedy called “Move” before he died.

Mac Miller Posthumous Album Coming Soon ... Jon Brion Contributed

Mac Miller has a new album coming out a little over a year after his death from an overdose, and his family says a well-known producer was a key figure in bringing it to fruition.

A message with the news was posted to Mac's official Instagram account Wednesday, announcing a posthumous record was set to be released on Jan. 17 -- two days before what would've been his 28th birthday -- and the project is called "Circles."

His fam says it's meant to be a complimentary piece to his last album, "Swimming," with the idea being ... Swimming in Circles. They also say record producer and composer Jon Brion was a major contributor in completing it.

Nicki Minaj I Love My Wax Figure ... Approved it Back in 2015!!!

Nicki Minaj's wax figure unveiling in Berlin has drawn the ire of the Internet, but here's the thing -- she gave it her stamp of approval ... more than 4 years ago.

Turns out, the "new" Nicki wax figure at Madame Tussauds Berlin isn't new at all ... it's the same one unveiled in August 2015 at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. We're told Minaj's wax likeness was moved to Germany because the museum loans statues out frequently to mix up the attractions at its various locations.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Also, for all the haters claiming Nicki's being disrespected because the figure doesn't look anything like her ... she disagrees. Our sources say, her team actually worked with the museum on the project in 2015, and she signed off on it before it went public.

Disso Queen Laura Wasser Dern's Character's a 'Dick' in 'Marriage Story' ... Not Like Me At All!!!

DERN WAS SO AGGRO
TMZ.com

Laura Dern's "Marriage Story" character isn't anything like the real-life divorce attorney she's supposedly based on ... so says the woman herself, who's kinda salty about the portrayal.

We ran into Disso Queen Laura Wasser Tuesday night at Craig's in WeHo and asked how she felt about the movie ... which many have speculated is not-so-loosely based on director Noah Baumbach's 2013 divorce from then-wife Jennifer Jason Leigh, who used Wasser.

Check it out ... Laura says there's not much similarity between herself and Dern's feisty Nora Fanshaw, who reps ScarJo in the movie and comes off as deceptively aggressive. Spoiler alert ... she ends up winning on behalf of her client, but the way she gets there sorta sucks.

LW has a funnier way of putting it -- she's a bit blunter in describing how LD was depicted, and she says it couldn't be further from the truth in how she handles her biz.

Finally, Laura offers up some sage advice to people who are actually going through a real divorce -- and it pretty much ends with her NOT getting hired. Interesting ...

Sen. Marco Rubio Clemson vs. LSU Will Be Ultra-Safe ... With Fighter Jet Patrol

SAFE AND SOUND
TMZSports.com

The Clemson vs. LSU championship game on Monday will be one of "the more secure places in America" -- with fighter jets patrolling the skies -- so says Sen. Marco Rubio.

With Iran vowing revenge on the U.S. -- and reportedly offering an $80 MILLION bounty on President Trump -- some people are concerned the Superdome could be a major target, especially since Trump is scheduled to attend the game.

But, Rubio isn't concerned one bit ... in fact, he believes Trump's presence will ensure top-notch safety efforts and insists fans should focus on enjoying the game.

"[Trump] being there will probably make it one of the more secure places in America for those 3 hours that he's there," Rubio tells TMZ Sports.

"It's already tight security to begin with because of the size of the event, but him being there will be even more so."

Rubio continued ... "I kind of understand what he travels with in terms of security and all of the things he brings with it. The whole airspace is restricted. They'll have fighter jets up there. So, not your typical event."

Rae Sremmurd Brother Arrested For Stepdad's Murder

UPDATE

7:46 AM PT -- 1/8 -- TMZ's obtained Sullivan's mug shot.

UPDATE
UPDATE

7:15 PM PT -- Police say Michael Sullivan has been released from the hospital and arrested for murder.

UPDATE

3:06 PM PT -- Swae just tweeted, "I pray this world let's me keep some compassion."

UPDATE

Rae Sremmurd's stepfather -- who helped raised them since they were young -- is dead after a shooting in Mississippi, and police have their brother in custody.

Tupelo PD says officers were dispatched Monday night to a home where they found a man who'd died on the scene from at least a couple gunshot wounds. According to our law enforcement sources ... Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi's younger half-brother, Michael Sullivan, is being held for psychiatric evaluation.

At this point, they're calling the 19-year-old a person of interest in the shooting.

The Lee County Medical Examiner tells TMZ the victim is 62-year-old Floyd Sullivan. He's Swae and Slim's stepdad. He's raised them ever since the boys were in middle school, and moved to Mississippi with their mother, Bernadette. Floyd also has a son, Floyd Jr., from a previous relationship.

Police say no one else is being sought in connection with the killing.

It's unclear how much Slim or Swae know about what went down. We've reached out to a rep for the duo, but so far ... no word back.

'Jeopardy!' G.O.A.T. Contestants Big Winners, Very Different Spenders ... $1 Mil Prize on the Line

The "Jeopardy!" boys facing off for G.O.A.T. status already have tons of cash to their names -- and with even more up for grabs ... we noticed they have very different spending habits.

TMZ did some digging, and it turns out Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer have chosen to splurge (or not splurge) on unique causes -- and you'd be surprised at who's done what with their dough. BTW, this new 3-day tourney's got a million-dollar cash prize.

That said ... let's get into the numbers a bit.

Starting with Ken, the guy's racked up a grand total of about $3.5 million in "Jeopardy!" winnings over the years between his regular 74-game streak in '04 and other tournaments he's competed in since. Looks like KJ's an investor type -- he's got quite the portfolio.

Ken's got a crib with an estimated value of $2.1 million in Seattle. He's also pledged 10% of his OG $2.52 mil haul to the Mormon church and has announced a couple other donations. Other monies are tied up in stocks and bonds.

James seems a bit more charitable, at least publicly. He's pulled in around $2.7 mil from "Jeopardy!" and a good amount has gone to charities like Project 150, Communities in Schools of Nevada, Vegas-Clark County Library District Foundation and the Lustgarten Foundation.

Jax Taylor New 'Vanderpump' Cast Can Kiss My Ass ... I'm NOT a Fan!!!

NOT A FAN
@adamglyn

"Vanderpump Rules" star Jax Taylor knows full well what he's saying about the new cast isn't nice, but he's saying it anyway ... on the heels of attacking a fellow veteran on the show too.

Jax and his wife, costar Brittany Cartwright, were out Tuesday night in NYC and said except for 2 newbies -- Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni -- the rest of 'em aren't his cup of tea. That's putting it lightly. You gotta see his choice words.

Then there's this ... while on 'Watch What Happens Live' after the season 8 premiere Tuesday night, Jax also went after Ariana Madix in a vile way, appearing to out her as a lesbian.

Ariana was watching, apparently, and fired back on social media, saying ... "I DO like women AND men. It's called being bisexual. Ever heard of it?"

So, why does Jax have his undies in a bunch over all his costars? Hard to say what his beef is with Ariana, but as for the new blood around Lisa Vanderpump -- Jax admits he just doesn't know 'em ... and he doesn't like new people.

Now, we doubt Raquel Leviss, Beau Clark, Dayna Kathan, Danica Dow and Charli Burnett are desperately seeking Jax's approval -- but, just in case, he did say there are a few things they can do to earn their 'Vanderpump' stripes.
