Rep. Pramila Jayapal GOP Will Break from Trump Over Immigrant Families
President Trump has so badly miscalculated his policy of ripping immigrant children from their parents, some Republicans are now close to a breaking point ... according to Rep. Pramila Jayapal.
The Washington state Congresswoman told us, Friday on "TMZ Live," the pressure's mounting on POTUS to reunite kids with their parents at border detention camps. She added, his signing of an "empty" executive order won't cut it either.
Jayapal says that pressure is why Republicans -- not necessarily in Congress -- are coming out of the woodwork to oppose Trump. Case in point ... former First Lady Laura Bush and Evangelist Franklin Graham.
The Congresswoman was among about 600 people arrested Thursday in D.C. while protesting Trump's immigration policies. She insists the sight of innocent kids in cages will force politicians to keep speaking out ... regardless of political affiliation.
