Donald Trump Will Not Use 'Dream On' ... New Song 'We're Not Gonna Take It'
Donald Trump I'm Not Gonna Use 'Dream On' Even Though I Can
Donald Trump says he has every right to use Steven Tyler's anthem, "Dream On," but he'll shelve the song because that's what Steven wants and the Aerosmith singer is a big, big fan.
Trump tells TMZ, he's read the cease and desist letter from Tyler's lawyer, threatening a lawsuit if the leader of the Republican pack dares to walk into a crowd again with "Dream On" blaring in the background.
Trump says he bought the right to use the song in public assemblies, along with many other tunes. But since Tyler has been such a good friend and supporter over the years, Trump says he'll move on instead of dream on.
We're told Tyler's gripe is not with Trump ... he just doesn't want his music politicized.
As for what Trump now plans to use as his anthem, he says there are 10-15 songs he rotates, but he favors "We're Not Gonna Take it" by Twisted Sister because he says it connects with the audience. It doesn't hurt that Dee Snider is a 'Celebrity Apprentice' alum who loves The Donald.
BTW ... Trump's still ahead in virtually every poll, and the margin is growing.
