Argentina looked like the set of Michael Bay's "Armageddon" Thursday night when a fiery meteor streaked across the night sky of the South American country.
Pics and videos of a meteor illuminating the skies of the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, have been popping up all over social media with the hashtag #cieloverde … Spanish for #greensky.
Local newspapers reported the astronomical event happened around 9 pm local time.
