Matthew Perry was involved in an early morning high-stakes chase ... he was spotted at the Commerce Casino putting up major bucks while sipping 'Bucks.

Witnesses say "The Odd Couple" star showed up before 7 AM Thursday morning and blew through at least $10k on 3-card poker before pulling out another ten ... all while slurping down java.

Now before you get too worried about Perry's bank roll, keep in mind he's reportedly worth around $70 mil and can afford to drop a few fat stacks ... all before breakfast.
